Celebrity couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have expanded their luxury real estate portfolio with the purchase of a premium apartment worth Rs 18.29 crore in Mumbai’s upscale Versova neighborhood.
The 2,644-square-foot apartment is located in the Godrej Skyshore residential project in Andheri West and occupies one of the development’s higher floors. The property also includes a private 316-square-foot exclusive area and three dedicated parking spaces.
According to property registration documents, the transaction was officially registered on July 21, 2026. The couple paid Rs 1.09 crore in stamp duty and Rs 30,000 as registration charges.
Based on the transaction value, the apartment was acquired at an estimated Rs 69,159 per square foot, underscoring the strong demand for luxury residential properties in Mumbai’s western suburbs.
The project has also attracted other prominent buyers. Earlier this year, actress Tabu, whose full name is Tabassum Fatima Hashmi, purchased a 2,153-square-foot apartment in the same development for about Rs 10 crore, according to property registration records.
The latest acquisition further strengthens Kohli and Sharma’s position as prominent investors in India’s premium real estate market. Over the years, the couple has built an impressive portfolio of high-value residential properties across the country.
Apart from their Mumbai investments, Kohli owns a sprawling 10,000-square-foot residence in DLF Phase 1 in Gurugram, reportedly valued at around Rs 80 crore. The luxury home features a private swimming pool, a modern gym and several high-end amenities.
Earlier this year, in January 2026, the couple also acquired more than five acres of land in Zirad village near Awas Beach in Alibaug for approximately Rs 37.86 crore. The purchase covered two adjoining land parcels spanning nearly 21,010 square metres, with the transaction registered on January 13, 2026.
Their investments in Alibaug date back to 2022, when they purchased an eight-acre plot for nearly Rs 19 crore. The land now houses a luxury villa equipped with a temperature-controlled swimming pool, a bespoke kitchen, four bathrooms, a jacuzzi, landscaped gardens, covered parking and dedicated staff quarters.
With their latest purchase in Versova, Kohli and Sharma have further expanded a real estate portfolio that spans some of India’s most sought-after luxury residential destinations.
