At least seven Palestinians have been killed and 76 injured in Israeli attacks across Gaza over the past 48 hours, according to the enclave’s Health Ministry. One additional person has died from injuries sustained in an earlier strike.
The ministry said that since the so-called ceasefire took effect last year, 1,222 Palestinians have been killed and 4,053 wounded. It also reported that 804 bodies have been recovered from the rubble during this period.
Overall, the death toll in Gaza since October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,349, with 174,162 people injured, the ministry added.
Separately, the death of one person in a building collapse has brought the total number of fatalities from such incidents to 33.
