Prime Minister Tarique Rahman attended a memorial programme in honour of those killed during the July Movement.
The event began at 10:00 am on Saturday (July 4) at the China Friendship Conference Center in the capital with the national anthem.
Jointly organised by the July 24 Martyrs’ Family Society and the central committee of Amra July Joddha, the programme was attended by injured participants of the July Movement and family members of those who lost their lives.
The event was chaired by State Minister for Liberation War Affairs Engineer Ishraq Hossain. Also in attendance were Home Minister Salah Uddin Ahmed and Chief Whip of the National Parliament Nurul Islam Moni.
