Russia carried out a powerful overnight attack targeting a Ukrainian facility involved in producing long-range drones and missiles near the capital, Kyiv, leaving at least three people dead and seven others injured.

According to Russia’s Ministry of Defence, the attack struck the Kyiv-11 “Fire Point” plant, a site allegedly used for developing and maintaining advanced military equipment, including Ukraine’s widely discussed long-range “Flamingo” cruise missiles.

Local officials in Ukraine confirmed significant destruction in the Brovary district of the Kyiv region. Governor Tymur Tkachenko said ballistic missile strikes damaged residential buildings, vehicles and commercial infrastructure, while fires broke out in multiple locations.

Videos circulating on social media showed massive explosions lighting up the night sky, followed by thick plumes of black smoke.

Moscow also claimed it hit a major fuel depot in Kyiv, which it said was supplying Ukraine’s armed forces. Ukraine’s State Emergency Service reported fires in garages and commercial buildings in the Holosiivskyi district, while firefighters battled flames at an industrial facility in the Obolonskyi area.
