Australia were reduced to 229 for seven after 81 overs in their second innings, still trailing Bangladesh’s first-innings total by 197 runs.
Bangladesh had earlier scored 426, securing a commanding 228-run first-innings lead.
Hasan Mahmud and Miraz have been among the standout performers, putting Australia under immense pressure.
A victory would be a landmark achievement for Bangladesh—their first Test win on Australian soil.
The match is being played at Marrara Stadium in Darwin from August 13–17.
