Saudi Arabia has introduced new guidelines for holders of multiple-entry Umrah visas, allowing them to enter the country multiple times but limiting their total stay to 90 days during the visa’s validity period.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said multiple-entry Umrah visa holders must book an approved Umrah service package and obtain an Umrah permit before performing the pilgrimage on each visit.
Visa holders are required to purchase the necessary service package from an authorised Umrah service provider through the Nusuk platform. They must also obtain an Umrah permit through the Nusuk app before travelling to Saudi Arabia.
The multiple-entry Umrah visa, introduced in July, remains valid for 365 days from the date of issuance. During that period, holders can enter Saudi Arabia multiple times, but their cumulative stay cannot exceed 90 days.
The ministry said the system was introduced to provide pilgrims with greater flexibility and convenience in performing Umrah.
However, despite the visa’s one-year validity, travellers must separately book an approved service package and obtain the required permit for each visit.
