A 30-year-old man was killed after losing control of his motorcycle and crashing into a roadside tree while making a video blog in Gobindaganj of Gaibandha on Monday morning.
The deceased was identified as Shawon, a resident of Daridar Sardar Para village in Shibganj upazila of Bogura.
The accident occurred around 10am at the Currenter Mor area on the Gobindaganj-Raja Birat Road.
According to locals, Shawon was recording a video blog while riding the motorcycle when he suddenly lost control of the vehicle. The motorcycle then crashed into a tree beside the road.
Locals rescued him in critical condition and took him to Gobindaganj Upazila Health Complex.
Dr Masudur Rahman, health and family planning officer at the health complex, said the young man was brought to the facility in critical condition but had died before arriving at the hospital.
