Protidiner Bangladesh Editor Maruf Kamal Khan on Sunday visited the Sarabangla.net office in Mirpur, Dhaka, and exchanged views with Sarabangla Editor Saiful Islam Siddique.
During the visit, Maruf Kamal Khan, also a well-known writer and former press secretary to ex-Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia, inquired about the publications and activities of ICC Group, including Dainik Sarabangla, Sarabangla.net and Digi Bangla.
The two editors discussed the challenges and obstacles currently facing the media industry in Bangladesh and stressed the importance of practising objective and responsible journalism in the interests of the country and its people.
The Protidiner Bangladesh editor also exchanged views with senior journalists and officials of ICC Group, including Media Director Shahin Hasnat, Head of Sarabangla.net English version Abul Kalam Manik, Deputy Chief of English version Syed Ali Asfar, City Editor Rafiqul Islam Azad and News Editor Mehedi Hasan.
Later, Maruf Kamal Khan visited different sections of the newspaper and online news portals and observed their editorial and operational activities. He wished success of the media outlets.
