Malaysia’s Foreign Worker Centralized Management System (FWCMS) has published a list of 338 Bangladeshi recruiting agencies eligible to recruit workers for Malaysia.
The new list was published on Thursday, adding significantly to the 25 agencies that had previously been listed.
Bangladesh’s state-owned Bangladesh Overseas Employment and Services Limited (BOESL) has also been included in the latest list.
According to the list, 62 agencies are placed under BOESL, while 250 recruiting agencies have been included as sub-agencies under the previously listed 25 agencies.
The move comes amid calls from Bangladeshi recruiting agencies to open Malaysia’s labour market to all licensed agencies.
