Vehicles will operate on a single lane of the Dhaka-Chattogram Highway until 6:00am Saturday due to ongoing bridge construction work at Ashariarchar.
Highway Police said the restriction has been imposed on the Dhaka-bound lane near Ashariarchar under Kanchpur Highway Police Station to allow Roads and Highways Department workers to complete roadwork and let the newly repaired section dry.
As a result, traffic is moving slowly through the area, officials said.
