Authorities have taken an initiative to send 10,000 Bangladeshi workers who were unable to travel to Malaysia at no additional cost, according to a report submitted to the High Court.
The report said 17,077 of the 33,000 workers seeking to travel to Malaysia had been affected by the stalled recruitment process.
Of them, 10,000 workers will be sent to Malaysia without having to pay any additional fees, the report said.
The information was provided in a report submitted to the High Court by the authorities concerned.
