How to Apply: 54,000 teachers to get 42-day training

Around 54,000 secondary-level teachers will receive 42 days of professional development training under the Learning Acceleration in Secondary Education (LAISE) Project.

The training will be offered to teachers of four subjects—Bangla, English, Mathematics, and Science—to enhance their subject-specific skills. A pool of Master Trainers will also be formed to conduct the training.

According to a notice issued by the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) on September 1, 2026, a total of 53,760 secondary-level teachers will receive the training under the project, which is being implemented with joint financing from the Government of Bangladesh and the World Bank.

How to Apply

Qualified and interested teachers can apply online to become Master Trainers. Applications must be submitted by September 15, 2026, along with the required documents.

Applicants must submit a forwarding letter from the head of their institution or the relevant authority. The letter must state that:

The applicant is permitted to participate in the Master Trainer training.
The applicant has no objection to conducting classes at the designated training centre after completing the Master Trainer training.

Applicants must also submit supporting documents, where applicable, such as certificates or office orders proving experience as a trainer, previous training participation, or other relevant qualifications.

The Master Trainer pool will be selected from online applicants based on professional standards and the relevant guidelines.
