Iran’s military has claimed that it carried out missile and drone attacks on US military facilities in Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates.
In a statement, Iran’s military said the attacks were launched this morning targeting US satellite communications systems, military installations, military equipment warehouses and fighter jet hangars at Kuwait’s Ahmed Al Jaber Air Base.
Iran claimed that the attacks damaged the communications systems and fighter jet hangars.
The Iranian military also claimed to have targeted a US military personnel housing facility and a radar system at Al Minhad Air Base in the United Arab Emirates.
Earlier, Kuwait’s military said in a statement that its air defence systems had been activated to intercept drones and missiles launched from Iran.
