Police recovered the body of a man with his throat slit in Abhaynagar upazila of Jashore on Monday morning (September 7).
The deceased was identified as Baharul Mallik, son of Hakim Mallik of Ranagati village.
Police recovered the body from the Ranagati area of Shubhara Union after receiving information from local residents. It was later sent to a morgue for autopsy.
Police said they were investigating who killed Baharul and the motive behind the murder.
