Local digital service platform Our Sathi is launching three special initiatives around its in-app social networking platform, SathiBook, including a Tk 1 lakh reel competition and cash rewards for its first 1,000 eligible users to reach 500 verified followers.
The details of the initiatives will be announced at a Facebook Live session at 5pm today (Saturday).
The programme will showcase Our Sathi’s range of services, features of SathiBook, a product introduction video and the platform’s theme song. The three initiatives — the SathiBook Founder Member Badge, the SathiBook 500 Followers Challenge and the Our Sathi Reel Competition — will also be formally launched and explained.
Our Sathi brand representative Ullash Kakoly will attend the programme, which will be hosted by Bristy of Ab Bristy Ranna Ghor and streamed live from her Facebook page.
SathiBook: social platform within Our Sathi
SathiBook is an integrated social networking platform within the Our Sathi app. After downloading the app and creating an account, users can create a social profile by choosing a unique username.
The platform offers features including profiles, posts, followers, stories, clips/reels, communities, pages and chat.
Our Sathi aims to bring services such as transportation, parcel delivery, online shopping, healthcare, blood donation and social communities together in one platform under the tagline, “Our Sathi – One App: Do More, Earn More.”
Founder Member Badge
The Founder Member Badge has been introduced for early SathiBook users.
Eligible users who create an account and set their username on SathiBook will be able to view their Founder Member Badge card and share it on Facebook and other social media platforms with a single tap.
Tk 1,000 for first 1,000 users to reach 500 followers
The first 1,000 eligible Our Sathi users to gain 500 verified followers on SathiBook will each receive Tk 1,000 in cash.
According to the company, the reward will not be distributed through a lottery or random selection. Instead, the first 1,000 users who meet the specified eligibility criteria will be guaranteed the reward.
There is no fixed deadline for the challenge.
Users will also be able to create or access a 500 Followers Challenge card on SathiBook and share it on Facebook and other social media platforms to invite friends and acquaintances to follow them.
Tk 1 lakh Our Sathi Reel Competition
Users can create creative reels individually or in teams using the Our Sathi theme song and publish them on SathiBook and other social media platforms.
An individual or team can submit multiple reels, with each reel considered separately. Winners will be selected based on a specified evaluation process, including views, shares and engagement.
The prizes are:
First prize: Tk 50,000
Second prize: Tk 25,000
Third prize: Tk 15,000
Next 10 winners: Tk 1,000 each
The total cash prize pool is Tk 1 lakh. Winners will be announced and prizes handed over on December 16, 2026.
Healthcare and blood donation features
The healthcare section allows users to digitally store prescriptions and share them with doctors when necessary. The feature is intended to help users keep important prescriptions organised and reduce the risk of losing them. It is not a substitute for medical advice or treatment.
The platform’s blood donation feature aims to make it easier for people seeking emergency blood to connect with potential donors in nearby areas who have the required blood group and are willing to donate.
During today’s live session, viewers will be shown how to download Our Sathi from Google Play or the App Store, create an account, set a username on SathiBook, and share the Founder Member Badge and 500 Followers Challenge cards on social media.
The programme will also feature Our Sathi’s product video and a karaoke version of its theme song.
