A cocktail exploded on the road outside the main gate of the High Court in Dhaka on Sunday afternoon.
The explosion took place shortly after 1pm, but no casualties or damage were reported immediately.
Sheikh Zahidul Islam, deputy commissioner of police (Ramna Division), confirmed the incident.
He said unidentified miscreants detonated the cocktail on the road in front of the High Court’s main gate shortly after 1pm.
The identities of those involved and their motive were not immediately known.
Police are investigating the incident, the DCP said.
