Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed ways to further expand economic, trade and investment cooperation between Bangladesh and Turkey during a meeting in New York on Tuesday.
The high-level meeting took place at the Turkish House at 821 United Nations Plaza.
The two leaders exchanged views on a range of issues of mutual interest and explored opportunities to broaden existing cooperation, particularly in the areas of trade, investment and economic partnership.
They also discussed key regional and international developments, stressing the importance of continued cooperation and coordination between the two countries.
Tarique and Erdogan reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the longstanding friendly relations between Bangladesh and Turkey and expanding bilateral cooperation into new areas based on mutual interests and shared priorities.
