The government has withdrawn 55 Bangladesh Civil Service (Administration) cadre officials from their posts as Assistant Commissioners (Land) and initiated the process of appointing them as Senior Assistant Commissioners.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification on Monday night, September 28, announcing the move.
Under the notification, the officials have been attached to the offices of the respective divisional commissioners pending their new assignments.
They were serving as Assistant Commissioners (Land) in different upazilas across the country.
The offices of the divisional commissioners will issue separate orders appointing the officials as Senior Assistant Commissioners.
