Five people died with suspected measles symptoms across Bangladesh in the past 24 hours, while 1,084 new suspected measles cases were reported during the same period.
With the latest deaths, the number of people who have died from measles and measles-like symptoms since March 15 has risen to 1,105.
Of them, 101 deaths have been confirmed as measles-related, according to a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Monday (September 29).
