The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has dissolved its 51-member Dhaka North city unit convening committee, led by Convener Aminul Huq and Member Secretary Mostafa Zaman.
The decision was announced in a press release issued on Wednesday (September 30), signed by BNP Assistant Office Secretary Muhammad Munir Hossain.
The party said the existing committee had been dissolved as directed by the party leadership. It did not specify any reason for the decision.
The BNP also said a new Dhaka North city committee would be announced soon.
The 51-member committee was formed on November 26, 2024, with Aminul Huq as convener and Mostafa Zaman as member secretary.
