Ferry services on the Paturia-Daulatdia route have been suspended due to strong currents and navigability problems in the Padma River.
The disruption has caused delays in ferry operations and increased congestion at the terminals, leaving a large number of vehicles waiting to cross the river.
Authorities said the services would resume once conditions become safe for ferry movement.
Recent reports also said strong currents and navigability problems have been affecting ferry berthing at Daulatdia.
