A German tourist’s laptop, stolen from Natore Railway Station, has been recovered, according to a report by Kalbela.
The 18-year-old tourist, identified as Krill Lander Wieber, lost his laptop and camera after leaving his bag with a man who allegedly posed as a railway employee at the station on October 7.
Police launched an investigation and reviewed CCTV footage to identify the suspect.
The incident drew widespread attention after a video of the distressed tourist went viral on social media.
A Bangladeshi businessman later gifted him a MacBook to help him continue his work.
