Biman suspends all Riyadh-bound flights until Oct 17

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has suspended all flights from Dhaka to Riyadh until October 17 due to the closure of King Khalid International Airport in the Saudi capital.

The national flag carrier announced the decision in a statement on Monday, saying the suspension would remain in effect until October 17, 2026, Bangladesh time.

The airline said further decisions regarding the suspended flights and revised schedules would be announced in due course.

Biman expressed regret over the temporary inconvenience caused to passengers and sought their patience and cooperation.

The disruption comes amid repeated attacks on Saudi airports, which have affected air traffic and forced airlines to cancel or suspend services.
