Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan was admitted to Evercare Hospital in Dhaka after suddenly falling ill.
The BNP Standing Committee member was admitted to the hospital’s Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of the hospital on Wednesday night.
On Thursday (October 22), BNP Standing Committee member Professor Dr AZM Zahid Hossain visited him at around 2pm and enquired about his condition from the attending doctors.
BNP Media Cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan confirmed the information.
Dr Moyeen Khan is currently under close observation by a team of specialist doctors.
His family has requested prayers from the public for his speedy recovery.
