A military source at the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army stated that air defense systems intercepted and shot down three ballistic missiles that entered Jordanian airspace from Iranian territory early Wednesday morning.
The source affirmed that Jordanian airspace is an integral part of the Kingdom’s sovereignty, and that the interception and shootdown operation was carried out as part of approved operational and defensive procedures aimed at protecting the nation’s borders, airspace, and the security of its citizens.
