Los Angeles: As Hollywood star Brad Pitt’s relationship with jewellery designer Ines de Ramon continues to make headlines, two more of his children with Angelina Jolie have begun the legal process to remove “Pitt” from their names.
According to Indian media reports, Maddox and Zahara have applied to adopt their mother’s surname, Jolie, instead of Jolie-Pitt.
Zahara has reportedly filed to change her name to Zahara Marley Jolie, while Maddox has applied to become Maddox Chivan Jolie. Public notices regarding the name changes have also been published as part of the legal process.
The move follows Shiloh, who legally dropped “Pitt” from her surname after turning 18 in 2024. Maddox and Zahara would become the latest Jolie-Pitt children to formally remove their father’s surname.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie married in 2014, but Jolie filed for divorce in 2016. After a lengthy legal battle, their divorce was finalised in December 2024.
Meanwhile, Pitt has been in a relationship with jewellery designer Ines de Ramon since 2022, with reports suggesting the couple have grown increasingly close.
However, there has been no confirmed report that the actor plans to remarry.
Besides Maddox, Zahara and Shiloh, the former couple share three other children: Pax, Knox and Vivienne.
