A three-day exhibition featuring premium Thai products, business networking opportunities and cultural performances will begin in Dhaka on Thursday, aiming to further strengthen trade and commercial ties between Bangladesh and Thailand.
The Top Thai Brands 2026 exhibition, organised by the Office of Commercial Affairs of the Royal Thai Embassy, will be held from July 23 to 25 at the Grand Ballroom of the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel. The exhibition will remain open to visitors every day from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.
Commerce Minister Khandakar Abdul Muktadir is expected to inaugurate the event as the chief guest at 1:00 pm on Thursday.
The announcement was made by Anusorn Kautipvittaya, Minister Counsellor (Commercial) at the Office of Commercial Affairs of the Royal Thai Embassy, during a press conference in Dhaka on Monday.
Describing the exhibition as an important platform for expanding bilateral trade, Anusorn said the event has played a significant role in strengthening economic cooperation between the two friendly nations over the years.
“Trade fairs are an effective way to deepen relations between two countries. Bangladesh and Thailand have continued to expand their commercial engagement through this exhibition, contributing to stronger bilateral business ties,” he said.
Now in its 21st edition, the exhibition will bring together 57 exhibitors, including leading Thai manufacturers as well as their Bangladeshi importers and agents.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore a wide range of high-quality products from Thailand across various sectors, including food and beverages, healthcare and wellness, hospital equipment, fashion, beauty and cosmetics, building materials, chemicals and lubricants, stationery, and baby and childcare products.
A key attraction of this year’s event will be the Business Matchmaking Sessions, where Thai companies will meet Bangladeshi importers, distributors, business owners and prospective partners to explore new commercial opportunities and forge long-term business partnerships.
The organisers hope these structured meetings will help increase bilateral trade, encourage investment and facilitate greater market access for businesses from both countries.
In addition to the trade exhibition, visitors will be treated to a variety of cultural and entertainment programmes showcasing Thailand’s rich heritage. The three-day event will feature traditional Thai dance performances, Muay Thai martial arts demonstrations, fashion shows, raffle draws and several interactive activities.
Complementing the exhibition, the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel will also host a Thai Food Festival, offering visitors an opportunity to experience authentic Thai cuisine throughout the event.
The annual exhibition has become one of the flagship trade promotion events organised by the Royal Thai Embassy in Bangladesh, providing a platform for businesses from both countries to strengthen commercial cooperation while promoting cultural exchange.
