Fresh off signing a lucrative six-year contract extension with FC Barcelona worth around €30 million (US$34 million) per season, World Cup star Lamine Yamal has reportedly purchased the luxury mansion once owned by Gerard Piqué and Shakira.
Completed in 2012, the property was originally listed for €14 million (US$15.9 million). However, the teenage football sensation secured the estate for €11 million (US$12.6 million) after it had remained vacant since the celebrity couple separated in 2022.
The lavish residence boasts six bedrooms, five bathrooms, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a private tennis court, a fully equipped gym, expansive terraces, and breathtaking views of the Mediterranean.
Celebrity real estate is often as glamorous as the stars themselves, with many high-profile homes passing from one famous owner to another. Rather than entering the market for long, these exclusive properties frequently remain within Hollywood and sporting circles.
Unlike most homebuyers, who rarely know their property’s history, celebrity buyers often move into homes with well-known former owners. As a result, these luxury estates carry not only premium price tags but also remarkable stories tied to the stars who once called them home.
