Deputy Attorney General Md Emran Khan has resigned from his post, citing personal reasons.
He submitted his resignation letter on Tuesday (July 21), stating: “I was appointed as a Deputy Attorney General of Bangladesh on August 28, 2024. Due to personal reasons, I hereby resign from the post today.”
Earlier, on June 23, seven Deputy Attorneys General and 11 Assistant Attorneys General believed to be affiliated with Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami also resigned from their positions.
