Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Tamim Iqbal is scheduled to travel to India on Thursday afternoon.
The main purpose of Tamim’s India visit is to inspect the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru.
BCB Grounds and High Performance (HP) Committee Chairman Shahnian Tanim will accompany him, according to a BCB source.
During the visit, Tamim is expected to observe India’s modern cricket infrastructure, training facilities, gym, sports science, and biomechanics facilities to gather ideas for developing a world-class cricket excellence centre in Purbachal.
It remains unclear whether discussions on a possible Bangladesh-India series will take place with BCCI officials during the visit.
