Xiaomi launches Redmi 17 in Bangladesh

Xiaomi Bangladesh has officially launched its new Redmi 17 smartphone in the country, featuring a massive 7,500mAh battery, Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection and a dynamic RGB light design aimed at delivering reliable everyday performance.

The smartphone comes with a 6.9-inch display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G91-Ultra processor and runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 3, which the company says will ensure smooth performance for up to four years.

The Redmi 17 supports 45W turbo charging, allowing the battery to reach 50 percent capacity in about 45 minutes.

For photography, the handset is equipped with a 50-megapixel AI dual-camera system. It also carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance, enhancing its durability for daily use.

Commenting on the launch, Xiaomi Bangladesh Country General Manager Ziauddin Chowdhury said the Redmi 17 was designed to provide users with a powerful and dependable smartphone experience, combining long battery life, durability and strong performance to meet the needs of today’s consumers.

The Redmi 17 is available in Oak Green, Deep Blue and Black in two variants. The 4GB RAM with 128GB storage model is priced at Tk 22,999, while the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs Tk 24,999, excluding applicable VAT.

The smartphone is now available through Xiaomi’s authorized stores and retail partners across Bangladesh.
