Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned what it described as an Iranian attack on a UAE oil tanker, calling it a serious threat to maritime security and global energy supplies.
In an official statement, the Saudi Foreign Ministry denounced the incident as a “grave violation” of international law and an assault on the safety of navigation in international waters.
“The Kingdom holds Iran responsible for the consequences of its continued aggression and demands that it immediately cease such violations to preserve regional security and stability,” the statement said.
Riyadh also expressed full solidarity with the United Arab Emirates, affirming its support for all measures taken by the UAE to safeguard its sovereignty and national resources.
The condemnation adds to growing regional tensions, with concerns mounting over the security of key shipping routes and the stability of global energy markets.
