No student from 312 educational institutions across the country, including 226 madrasas, passed this year’s SSC and equivalent examinations.
The highest number of such institutions is under the Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board.
According to the results, none of the students from 57 institutions under the nine general education boards, 226 institutions under the Madrasah Education Board and 29 institutions under the Technical Education Board passed the examinations.
In addition, no student passed at one overseas examination centre.
A total of 1,857,344 students filled out forms to sit for this year’s SSC and equivalent examinations. Of them, 1,418,398 students registered for the SSC examinations under the nine general education boards.
The results of the 2026 SSC and equivalent examinations were formally unveiled at 10am on Monday (August 10) at a ceremony held at the Education Ministry’s conference room. Education Minister Dr ANM Ehsanul Haque Milan inaugurated the publication of the results.
Chairmen of all education boards were present at the event and handed over their respective board results to the education minister.
