Google is preparing to unveil its latest Pixel smartphones at its Made by Google event, with the Pixel 11 series expected to take centre stage. And if the leaks are anything to go by, there will be plenty to talk about beyond a routine yearly upgrade.
The lineup is expected to include the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Alongside the phones, Google is also expected to introduce the Pixel Watch 5 and announce new Gemini features that could make their way across its latest hardware.
Google’s Made by Google event is scheduled for August 12 at 6PM ET. For viewers in India, that translates to 3.30AM on August 13.
The company will livestream the event on its official YouTube channel, while the livestream link will also be available through Google’s online store.
If staying awake until 3.30AM is not part of the plan, Google’s social media channels should offer updates, announcements and clips from the event.
Google has kept details about the Pixel 11 series under wraps, but leaks have already painted a fairly detailed picture of what could be coming. Here is what the four phones are expected to offer.
The standard Pixel 11 is tipped to feature a 6.3-inch Actua OLED display with a 2,424 x 1,080-pixel resolution and a 60Hz-120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Peak brightness could reach 3,000 nits, while Gorilla Glass Victus 2 is expected to provide protection.
Under the hood, the phone is expected to get Google’s Tensor G6 chipset and Titan M3 security chip. It could come with 12GB or 16GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage.
For cameras, leaks point to a 48MP main sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide camera, with up to 30x Super Res Zoom. A 10.5MP selfie camera is also expected. The phone could pack a 4,985mAh battery, with 30W wired and Qi2 wireless charging.
