Actress Tanjin Tisha today surrendered before a Dhaka court in a case filed against her on allegations of fraud and breach of trust and was subsequently granted bail.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Jewel Rana passed the order after the actress appeared before the court and sought bail in compliance with a summons issued against her.
The case was filed by Aminul Islam, an executive of Aponia Fashion, on November 5, 2025. According to the case statement, Tisha allegedly failed to pay the bill for a saree purchased from the fashion company and did not fulfil a commitment to promote the company’s products through an advertisement.
The complainant alleged that the actress had promised to advertise for the company but subsequently failed to keep the commitment, leading to the filing of the case on allegations of fraud and breach of trust.
The Detective Branch (DB) of police recently submitted its investigation report to the court in connection with the case.
Following the submission of the report, the court issued a summons against Tisha on August 12, directing her to appear before the court.
Tisha subsequently appeared before the court today through her lawyer and formally surrendered. Her lawyer sought bail, while the court granted the actress bail after hearing the matter.
The case will now proceed in accordance with the court’s directions.
The allegations against Tisha remain subject to judicial proceedings, and the court has not yet determined her guilt or liability in the matter.
