Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on assuming office as the President of Bangladesh.
Russian Ambassador to Bangladesh Alexander Khokhlov handed over Putin’s congratulatory letter to SM Mahbubul Alam, director general of the East Europe and CIS Wing at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during a meeting in Dhaka on Thursday (August 27).
According to a message from the Russian Embassy, Putin extended his greetings and congratulations to Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on his assumption of office as Bangladesh’s President.
