The main suspect in the murder of schoolteacher Ronjina during a mugging in front of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban in Dhaka has been arrested along with an accomplice.
The suspect, identified as Md Poni alias Para Poni, was arrested by Rapid Action Battalion (RAB). The motorcycle allegedly used in the mugging was also seized.
RAB-2 Media Office confirmed the arrests on Sunday (August 30).
A detailed briefing on the arrests and the case will be held later, RAB said.
