27 deputy secretaries posted as deputy directors at DC offices

The government has transferred 27 officials from the Bangladesh Civil Service (Administration) cadre to serve as deputy directors of the Local Government Division at various Deputy Commissioner (DC) offices across the country.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification on Sunday (August 30), transferring and posting the officials, all of whom hold the rank of deputy secretary.

The officials have been instructed to join their new workplaces by September 3. Those who fail to do so will be immediately released from their current posts on the afternoon of that day.

The districts where they have been posted are Narsingdi, Tangail, Jhenaidah, Satkhira, Rajshahi, Joypurhat, Pabna, Sylhet, Habiganj, Barishal, Bhola, Pirojpur, Chattogram, Chandpur, Bandarban, Khagrachhari, Rangamati, Feni, Lakshmipur, Rangpur, Lalmonirhat, Nilphamari, Panchagarh, Thakurgaon, Mymensingh, Netrokona and Jamalpur.
