A passenger bus was set on fire in front of Kafrul Police Station in Dhaka on Friday night.
The incident occurred at around 9:30pm, according to police.
The bus, identified as a Mirpur Super Link vehicle bearing registration number Dhaka Metro-B 11-7237, was parked in front of the police station when the fire broke out.
Kafrul Police Sub-Inspector Jahirul Islam confirmed the incident, saying the fire was later extinguished with the help of local residents. The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
Separately, Fire Service officials said they received information about the fire at around 10:14pm and dispatched two units to the scene.
No casualties were immediately reported.
