DHAKA: Fuel prices at the consumer level will remain unchanged in October across Bangladesh.
The Energy and Mineral Resources Division announced the decision in a letter issued by its Operations-1 branch on Wednesday. The new rates came into effect on Thursday (October 1).
According to the letter, diesel will be sold at Tk135 per litre, octane at Tk165, petrol at Tk160 and kerosene at Tk155 throughout October.
The prices were last adjusted on September 20 and came into effect on September 21.
At that time, the price of diesel was raised from Tk115 to Tk135 per litre, octane from Tk145 to Tk165, petrol from Tk140 to Tk160 and kerosene from Tk135 to Tk155. Source: Agencies.
