A Bangladeshi student at Edith Cowan University, Tasnim Oishi, has been killed in a road accident on Indian Ocean Drive in Perth, Australia.
The Bangladesh High Commission in Canberra confirmed the death on Friday (October 9).
According to the High Commission, Oishi died in the accident at around 7:45am on October 8.
The High Commission expressed deep sorrow over her untimely death and extended its heartfelt condolences to her bereaved family.
The Bangladesh International Students Association Perth (BISAP) also expressed profound grief over her death in a statement.
