Bangladesh’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has urged the public not to be misled by what it described as misleading, baseless and deliberate propaganda targeting the Bangladesh Army and its chief on online platforms and social media.
In a statement issued on Saturday, October 10, the military’s media wing said such content appeared intended to create public confusion and undermine the reputation of the Bangladesh Army.
The ISPR called on everyone to avoid being influenced by such campaigns and to rely on official and credible sources when seeking information about the army and its chief.
It also said the Bangladesh Army remained united and committed to discharging its responsibilities to the country and its people, supported by a strong chain of command, mutual trust, unity, discipline and professionalism.
The statement was conveyed to journalists by the ISPR.
