Two Bangladeshi nationals were killed in an attack by Houthi rebels at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, while four others were injured and are receiving treatment in the intensive care unit (ICU) of a hospital in the Saudi capital.
State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaed Islam disclosed the information while briefing reporters at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday afternoon (October 11).
“Two Bangladeshi nationals were killed in the attack on the Saudi airport. Four Bangladeshis were injured and are now in the ICU of King Khalid Hospital in Saudi Arabia. We are trying to confirm the identities of all the victims,” she said.
