DHAKA: US-Bangla Airlines has become the first carrier to connect an aircraft to a boarding bridge at the new terminal of Cox’s Bazar Airport.
The milestone was achieved on Saturday (October 17) when the airline’s Boeing 737-800 aircraft operating flight BS 145 used the boarding bridge. The airport authorities inaugurated the facility.
US-Bangla Airlines General Manager (Public Relations) Md Kamrul Islam said the boarding bridge allows passengers to board and disembark directly between the terminal building and the aircraft, making their journeys more convenient and expanding access to modern airport services.
He said US-Bangla Airlines remained committed to providing quality services and ensuring safe, comfortable and seamless travel for passengers.
The airline expects the introduction of the boarding bridge to play an important role in improving passenger services at Cox’s Bazar Airport.
