President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has cancelled his scheduled visits to Chattogram, Rangamati and Bandarban, which were planned for October 28–30.
The cancellation was confirmed by Assistant Press Secretary to the President A F M Mahfuzur Rahman Khan on Tuesday night.
According to the original schedule, the President was due to visit the Old House in Chattogram and attend a reception on Wednesday before staying overnight at the Chattogram Circuit House.
He was scheduled to attend a reception in Rangamati on Thursday, then travel to Nilgiri in Bandarban that afternoon and stay overnight. On Friday, he was due to visit Keokradong.
