The Liberation War Museum has suspended an exhibition commemorating the four national leaders, citing security concerns.
The exhibition was scheduled to honour the four leaders who played key roles in the formation of the Mujibnagar government during Bangladesh’s 1971 Liberation War.
The four leaders were Syed Nazrul Islam, Tajuddin Ahmad, Captain M Mansur Ali and AHM Qamaruzzaman.
They were assassinated inside Dhaka Central Jail on November 3, 1975, in what is known as the Jail Killing.
The museum authorities cited security concerns as the reason for suspending the exhibition.
The move has drawn attention as the country observes Jail Killing Day, commemorating the sacrifice and contribution of the four national leaders to the Liberation War.
