Police arrested 28 individuals in separate anti-crime operations conducted in the Mirpur Model Police Station area of the capital on Sunday.
According to a Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) press release, the operation targeted suspects wanted in outstanding arrest warrants as well as those linked to ongoing cases.
All detainees were produced before the court after completing necessary legal procedures, the release said.
Police officials noted that such special drives will continue as part of ongoing efforts to maintain law and order and curb criminal activities in the area.
