A fire broke out at a fabric warehouse of Ananta Apparels inside Adamjee Export Processing Zone (EPZ) in Narayanganj early Wednesday.
Nine units of the Fire Service and Civil Defence were deployed to the scene and are working to bring the blaze under control.
According to the Fire Service, it received the emergency call at 4:10am.
The first firefighting unit reached the scene just four minutes later, at 4:14am, and immediately began efforts to contain the fire.
A total of nine firefighting units are currently engaged in extinguishing the blaze. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage were not immediately known.
