Ferdausi Ahmed Misti, Member of Parliament and Joint Convener of Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP, has requested everyone to remain vigilant and ensure that no one can spread misinformation.
She expressed her conviction to build a beautiful Bangladesh by everyone doing the right thing from their respective positions. She made this call at the inauguration ceremony of a free dental camp organized for Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) members and their families at the Shafiqul Kabir Auditorium of the DRU building.
This healthcare program was organized with the overall cooperation of Mediplus Dental Health and Doctor Mirza’s Dental Care.
This dental camp and discussion program were held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, in the morning at the DRU office in Segunbagicha. Attending the function as the chief guest, Ferdausi Ahmed Misti highly praised the role of journalists in the overall development and raising public awareness in the country.
Speaking as the chief guest, Ferdausi Ahmed Misti said, “There will be a request to everyone to ensure that no one can spread misinformation. Bangladesh will be beautiful only if each of us does the right thing from our own position. I want to do something for the country. I want your cooperation. She said, journalists can take the country to a beautiful place. I pay my respects to your role. DRU has always been playing an important role. It is necessary to ensure the health care of the members of this organization. We will cooperate.”
Speaking as the special guest, Dr. Mirza Mohibul Hasan said, “Members will go to the chamber, they will get treatment. Although dental treatment is expensive, good treatment will be given at a low cost.”
Former President of DRU M Shafiqul Karim Sabu said, “Since there is insurance abroad, medical care is guaranteed. Although dental treatment is expensive in Bangladesh, importance must be given to treatment. To stay healthy, one must take care of teeth.”
DRU General Secretary Mainul Hasan Sohel said, “We have to be aware of our health. DRU attaches importance to the health care of our members. Various types of medical programs are taken throughout the year. Following this, dental treatment has been arranged today.”
Presided over by DRU Vice-President Mehdi Azad Masum, Welfare Secretary Rafiq Mridha delivered the welcome address. DRU Joint Secretary Md. Zafar Iqbal, Finance Secretary Niaz Mahmud Sohel, Organizing Secretary M M Jasim, Permanent Member Mahbub Jewel, and BNP Dhaka Metropolitan North Member Mozammel Hossain Selim also spoke at the function.
