Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has said he wants to move the country forward by fostering unity rather than pursuing revenge.
He also pledged that those responsible for the killings would be brought to justice through a transparent legal process, stressing that there would be no injustice in the name of justice.
The prime minister made the remarks on Saturday while addressing the July National Convention 2026, organised by the July 24 Martyrs’ Family Society and Amra July Joddha, at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka.
The event was chaired by Chief Whip of the National Parliament Nurul Islam Moni.
